Biography
Soe Gschwind-Penski is a leading esports host and analyst. She started her career in 2007 as a commentator for fighting games and Quake Live tournaments. From August 2008 to December 2016, she worked as a host at Freaks 4U Gaming GmbH. During this time, she hosted esports shows on German television (NRW TV) and worked at international events (Gamescom, E3).
In 2016, Gschwind-Penski joined Blizzard Entertainment in France as an assistant esports manager. In January 2017, she moved to the USA to work on the launch of the Overwatch League. Within the project, she went from stage reporter to lead analyst and studio host.
From January 2017 to January 2024, Gschwind-Penski was the face of official Blizzard broadcasts, also working on events like BlizzCon, and World Championships for StarCraft II and Hearthstone. After leaving Blizzard in 2024, she continues her work in the industry as an independent expert and content creator.
