Biography
Naz Aletaha is a former head of the global esports division of League of Legends at Riot Games. She began her career in October 2006 at Sony Pictures Entertainment as a financial analyst. In December 2007, she moved to Activision, where for five years she was involved in retail marketing analysis and consumer behavior. In her last years at Activision, she held the position of brand marketing manager for Call of Duty.
In January 2012, Aletaha joined Riot Games as a senior manager for B2B payments. Since December 2013, she led the global partnership and business development direction in the company's esports division. In this role, she was responsible for attracting global brands such as Louis Vuitton, Mastercard, and Mercedes-Benz as sponsors of the League of Legends ecosystem.
In October 2021, Aletaha was appointed as the global head of esports for League of Legends. In this role, she oversaw the development of twelve regional leagues and the organization of international tournaments, Mid-Season Invitational and World Championship. In October 2024, after twelve years at the company, she left Riot Games.
