Biography
Frankie Ward is a British host and reporter in the field of esports. She began her career in 2008 at the BBC as an art reporter. From 2009 to 2011, she worked as a producer and host at Amazing Radio, as well as an assistant at Channel 4. From 2011 to 2013, she held positions as a content editor at BSkyB and a multi-platform producer at BBC Radio Comedy.
From 2014 to 2016, Ward worked at the BBC, overseeing the development of digital platforms and serving as a senior content producer. In 2015, she prepared her first report on the League of Legends World Championship for the BBC, marking the beginning of her integration into the industry. From July 2016 to March 2018, she served as a producer in the European division of Twitch Studios, responsible for creating original programs for the platform.
Since 2018, Ward has transitioned to work as an independent host. She has become the official face of broadcasts for Counter-Strike, PUBG, and Hearthstone disciplines at tournaments such as Intel Extreme Masters, ESL Pro League, and PGL Major series. In 2018, she was awarded 'Host of the Year' at the UK Esports Awards. Currently, Ward continues to work at major global arenas, combining on-air activities with hosting her own podcast.
