Biography
Andrew Rhodes is the CEO and Commissioner of the UK Gambling Commission.
He joined in June 2021 as Interim CEO, confirmed permanently in June 2022, and appointed Commissioner in July 2023. He leads the "regulating gambling in the digital age" strategy, introducing affordability checks, advertising restrictions, and a mandatory levy for addiction treatment.
Previously, he held senior roles in the public sector. Andrew is ranked #29 in iGaming Express's Top 100 Most Influential People in iGaming.
